It happens fairly frequently that fashion designers create not only clothes but also fragrances, creams, and other kinds of colourful cosmetics. Even famous Christian Louboutin decided to design something special. We are talking about nail polishes called Rouge Louboutin. What do connect this high-heel designer with nail polishes?

Christian Louboutin is a world famous footwear and fashion designer who has come up with the red-soled high heels that are known to every women. Not every fashion lover knows though, how it happened that such a fashion hallmark came into existence. Well, when Christian Louboutin was designing one of his top models of shoes, somehow, he could not obtain the satisfactory effect. Therefore, he reached for a red nail polish and covered the whole sole of the shoes he was working on at that time. As it turned out, that was this one missing element which set the future hallmark of his design. However, now is the time for the nail polishes. And as it is not hard to guess, all the nail polishes have red colour. Furthermore, Christian Louboutin has designed also yet another collection that is characterized with a wider range of colours.

The complete collection of Christian Louboutin, called Rouge Louboutin, has 30 shades. It was categorized into three colour schemes: Pop, Nude, and Noire. Christian Louboutin designed the collection together with Batallure Beauty cosmetic brand. But what does a nail polish has to do with high-heels? Firstly, the colour – red soles of shoes and the same shade of the nail polishes. Anything else? Naturally! Since Christian Louboutin takes delight in shoes, he marked the nail polishes with this detail as well. The phial, or to be more precise – the cap (applicator with the brush) refers to the 20-centimeter long heel which was designed for Louboutin’s Ballerina Ultima. Well, for some women this kind of a nail polish will be an extremely designer cosmetic, while others will find it troublesome to cover their nails with such a long applicator.

Christian Louboutin has designed yet another collection of nail polishes. It is called Python Vulcano and is, unfortunately, limited. Python Vulcano is a set of three nail polishes that are inspired by… high-heels, obviously. Available shades are True Blue, Hot Chick (yellow), and Salonu (white). The nail polishes are closed in a box decorated with vivid colours and snake skin pattern. Python Vulcano collection is available since summer 2015.
