Linseed hair mask – recipe

Linseed gel is based on linseeds which are famous for giving the digestive system lots of benefits. They shield gastric mucosa, protecting it from the action of harmful substances. Linseeds are also high in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, proteins, potassium and zinc. Thanks to the ability to coat and shield, linseeds have been used in medicine and beauty care. You can use them as a base for your home mask for sun-damaged hair.

To make the mask, pour some boiling water over 1/4 cup of linseeds so that they’re covered. Within a few minutes, you get a quite thick and clear gel which must be strained (use a sifter or a cotton cloth). Cool down the resulting mixture and apply to hair lengths. After a few minutes, rinse it and wash the hair with a gentle shampoo (don’t wash it before applying the mask). You can apply the gel to your scalp too.

Wheat germ oil & yogurt hair mask – recipe

Wheat oil is extremely universal: it is used for the production of natural products and massage. Thanks to the high content of vitamin E, it can boast about repairing, smoothing, strengthening and antiaging qualities. When it comes to plain yogurt, it is high in B vitamins which keep hair healthy. Moreover, it contains lactic acid, protein, calcium, zinc, potassium and magnesium which present the mask with nourishing and moisturising properties.

Mix three spoons of plain yogurt with a few drops of wheat germ oil and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Massage the resulting mixture in your hair and leave in for fifteen minutes. After that, rinse well. This super easy home treatment will make your sun-damaged hair really smooth.

Coconut oil, almond oil & castor oil hair mask – recipe

Sun-dried hair is a problem affecting lots of people after summer. In order to fight it, make a treatment using coconut oil, almond oil and castor oil. Coconut oil is high in vitamin E which intensively moisturises and has a conditioning effect on hair which is prone to breakage. Almond oil delivers vitamins A, D, E and B vitamins as well as proteins and mineral salts. When it comes to castor oil, it repairs and nourishes thanks to ricinoleic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid and linoleic acid.

Make use of the three oils and let them be the base of your treatment – mix three yolks, a half spoon each of coconut oil and almond oil, a spoon each of castor oil and lemon juice, three spoons of honey. Apply the resulting mixture to damp hair and leave in for an hour. For intensified effect, wrap an aluminum foil and a towel around the head. Finally, rinse the mask using a delicate shampoo. Instead of almond oil, you can use linseed oil or grapeseed oil.
