D.I.Y. – Smokey Eye.

Basically, smoky eye make-up performance can be divided into two stages. The first one is devoted to eye-shadows application, whereas, the second one to coating eyelashes with a mascara. Naturally, you have to cover your face with a make-up foundation beforehand and then fixed it with a powder.

Smoky Eye – 1st Stage.

Begin smoky eye make-up with applying an eye-shadow primer on upper eyelids. Put it on with the aid of either a make-up brush or a fingertip. Certainly, the manner of application depends on the consistency of the cosmetic. Next, reach for an eye-shadow palette and pick the middle (not the darkest nor too light) shade. Apply it along the eyelash line of upper eyelid, in outer corner of the eye and in the middle of the upper crease area. Now, gather on the brush the darkest shade and apply it on both the eyelash base and outer corner of the eye. Take a soft blending brush and smudge the shades in such a way, to create a gradient. Decorate the upper eyelid with a line drawn using an eyeliner or a black, soft eye pencil.

Smoky Eye – 2nd Stage.

Time to start the second stage which is coating lashes with a mascara. At the beginning, curl the eyelashes using either a heated eyelash curler or the regular one heated by a blow-drier. While mascaraing right eye, hold your mascara in a left hand and the other way around. The upper eyelashes has to be coated with a brush kept horizontally. Apply, so-called, zigzag movement. What is more, fell free to put on several layers of the mascara. The more layers applied, the longer and darker eyelash will become. By setting the mascara vertically, mark the tips of the eyelashes lifting these up even more. At the end, coat the lower eyelashes by holding the mascara brush vertically.
